Brown’s Toyota was proud to help out a Local Maryland Resident, Jacob Jarosz. Jacob recently graduated from the Naval Academy and is headed down to Pensacola, FL to become a Naval Pilot. Jacob will continue his training in the hopes of becoming a part of Top Gun. We were honored to be able to help Jacob find a new vehicle to take on his next adventure. Brown’s was happy to assist a member of their community this week. A family member reached out to the Washington Area New Automotive Dealers Association (WANADA) asking for help for her daughter’s family. The mother was having vehicle problems and was walking to and from work. She was also missing doctor’s appointments for her two young children with special needs at Children’s Hospital.

The like-new Sienna was delivered by Jim Robertson at Brown’s Manassas Hyundai to the entire family. Brown’s is happy to be a part of a community that can pull together resources…

As part of Subaru Loves to Care Month, Subaru partnered with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate Blankets and Art kits to local hospitals for patients going through Cancer Treatments. This week Brown’s Manassas Subaru went to UVA Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA to drop off the blankets and art kits. We had the pleasure of meeting some of the staff at the medical center. We are so proud to stand behind Subaru and LLS’s mission to provide for people undergoing treatments.

Brown’s Manassas Kia was proud to continue their Gold Level Sponsorship with Prince William County Libraries Summer Reading Program. The public libraries put on this event for Children, young adults, and even adults continue reading throughout the summer. The program encourages participants to complete activities to receive free books. Participants complete challenges get entered in the grand prize drawing! Keep Reading Prince William County!

Brown’s Toyota of Glen Burnie is proud to support Shelley’s House in Severn, MD. Shelley’s House provide homeless and underserved young adults with housing assistance, educational resources, clinical services, peer mentorship and self-improvement workshops. Our store gave a $500 donation to their Casino Night Silent Auction.

Brown’s Toyota of Glen Burnie is proud to be supporting Belle Brook’s Fundraising Picnic benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Belle was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis a few months ago and wants to raise money to help further research about the genetic disease in the hopes that one day, they will be able to find a cure.

We, at Toyota of Glen Burnie, are happy to support St. Jude Children’s Research through the 10th Annual St. Jude Zumabthon, in Severna, MD. We have been a proud donor to this event for the past five years. Donations to St. Jude allow families focus on their children’s help rather than the medical bills.

Brown’s Manassas Subaru and William E. Schuiling Love Teachers! Last week, Manassas Subaru celebrated teacher appreciation week by providing treats for 2 of our local schools in Prince William County. We provided a pizza lunch to the teachers at Jennie Dean Elementary. We also provided coffee and doughnuts to Cougar Elementary. We are so thankful for everything our teachers do!

 

Brown Automotive Group and William E. Schuiling are proud to support Kids R First. This organization is based out of Reston, VA. Kids R First helps provide school supplies to children in need so that they can have the same opportunities as others in their class. Less fortunate families are able to place school supply orders for their children (Grades K-12).

Brown Automotive Group and William E. Schuiling are excited to continue our support of the Police Unity Tour. The 2022 Tour is back for the first time in 2 years and will take place on May 12^th. Chapter IV in Virginia will have 30 riders traveling 2 1/2 days from Richmond, VA to Washington D.C. The riders will travel over 230 miles raising awareness for Police Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty as well as raising funds for the National Law Enforcement Memorial & Museum.
