Updated Toyota Statement Regarding Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan

We want to inform our customers about how the devastating earthquake and tsunami is affecting production at Toyota in Japan.

Toyota Announces Voluntary Safety Recall for Select Highlander and Avalon

Last week, Toyota Motor Sales announced that it will conduct a voluntary safety recall of 740,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles in North America. The purpose of the safety recall is to address the possibility that a small amount of the brake fluid could slowly leak from the brake master cylinder, resulting in illumination of the brake warning lamp. For Brown's Toyota customers, the affected vehicles are:

- 2005 through 2006 Toyota Avalon
- 2004 through 2006 Toyota Highlander (non-hybrid)
